Then future Hall-of-Famer Neil Colville was indeed an NHL rookie when he “made” O-Pee-Chee’s cherished 1936-37 card set, with more “firsts” to follow. A career New York Ranger, Neil became the first player to earn NHL All-Star honors as a forward then as a defenseman after switching back to the blueline and opened, along with former player Jack McGill, the first Dairy Queen in Canada! The Edmonton native is pictured at age 22 on this example of card #105, slabbed and deemed VG-EX 4 by the experts at PSA.
