Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2012
Better known to many for his years at the helm of the Detroit Red Wings, Jack Adams earned his spot in the Hall of Fame as a player, winning Stanley Cups in his first NHL season, (1917-18 Toronto Arenas) and last (‘26-27 Ottawa Senators) and winning the PCHL scoring championship in between (’21-22). Pictured on his rookie card in the uniform of the Toronto St. Pats, this Adams example of card #24 in the coveted V-145-1 issue has been graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Worthy of an important pre-war portfolio, its image prompts the beholder to contemplate the hockey life of a legendary figure.
