Historical Hockey Memorabilia Spring 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/12/2012
One of four Boucher brothers from Ottawa to skate in the NHL, Billy was at his best when his rookie card appeared in chocolate bars manufactured by Brantford, Ontario’s William Paterson Limited. Only 5’7” but one of the scrappiest skilled players of the 1920s, Boucher completed a line with Morenz and Joliat and won the Stanley Cup in ’23-24, scoring five goals in four Cup games. This example of card #16 has earned EX 5 recognition from PSA, with the company having looked over 22 total submissions over the years, with just seven grading higher.
