Even though he was a New Jersey Devils prospect, Kirk McLean wore the Philadelphia Flyers’ colours for the AHL Maine Mariners during the 1986-87 season. This white, orange and black mesh beauty features the Mariners’ black, white and orange twill crest sewn on the front and a blank flag tag in the back of the net with size “54” written in blue ballpoint. Surname nameplate was changed for McLean with evidence of a much longer one having been removed, with some sewing repairs, so jersey was likely recycled from the previous season. Game use shows in sweat stains throughout and black marks on the front and on the numbers on the left sleeve, and loose black piping on both sleeves. “Eagle” is embroidered on the right rear hem. Comes with Kirk McLean’s signed LOA.
