The Canucks’ 1987-88 Molson Cup Trophy was awarded to goalie Kirk McLean. Acquired from New Jersey, McLean posted 11 wins, a 3.71 GAA and one shutout in his first full NHL season. This is the first of three Molson Cups McLean claimed with Vancouver for the most three-star selections. Silver-coloured bowl rests on a hockey puck atop a wood base of this trophy that stands a shade under 9” tall overall. “1987-88, Kirk McLean, Vancouver Canucks” is engraved on a plaque on the wood base and “Molson Cup” is engraved on the front of the trophy’s bowl, which is slightly misshaped from a few dings. Comes with Kirk McLean’s signed LOA.
