Brilliant blue cotton Team Czechoslovakia sweater was worn by Josef Cerny during the late-1960 to early 1970s. Preserved in amazing condition, it features Czechoslovakia's lion crest sewn on the front and a tie-neck front collar with six eyelets that exhibit no discernible stretching. The number "15" in white-and-red woven fabric letters in drop-shadow style on a white felt outline is sewn on the back and on both sleeves. "CSSR" in the same material is sewn above the number on the back and once again for the alternate's "A" that appears on the upper chest. Game use is difficult to spot on this well-washed uniform but we do note some material pulls and a small area of red board paint transfer. Josef won three medals at four Winter Olympics and was inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame in 2007. Comes from the collection of Josef Cerny, complete with his signed letter of authenticity.
