Fantastic hoard of rubber features 81 NHL 75th Anniversary official game pucks, all with the common smaller logo screened on the reverse and each in its original packaging. Founded in 1917, the NHL used this In Glas Co puck with the league’s distinctive 75th anniversary logo screened on the face as the official game puck throughout the 1991-92 season. Mark Messier won the Hart Trophy while leading the New York Rangers to the Presidents’ Trophy in his Broadway debut. Chicago won a playoff-record 11 straight games to reach the Stanley Cup finals, where they were swept by Pittsburgh, which extended its own playoff winning streak to 11 to match the Black Hawks’ brand-new mark! Penguins captain Mario Lemieux hoisted the Cup overhead for a second year in a row as he claimed his second Conn Smythe Trophy in a row. The reverse of this 75th anniversary NHL game puck has “Official Game Puck” in black arched across the top of an orange circle. The NHL crest appears in the middle with league president John Ziegler’s facsimile signature below it, and “Inglasco” along the bottom. “In Glas Co”, “Official” and “Canada” appear in raised letters on the edge of the puck. Each puck remains encased in its plastic packaging, which is sealed with a staple attached to the In Glas Co “Official Game Puck of the 75th anniversary of the NHL” label.
