Lot of 52 NHL 1999 and 2000 playoff pucks conjure up memories of the Dallas Stars’ peak seasons as well as the New Jersey Devils’ second Stanley Cup. The Stars won the first Stanley Cup in franchise history in 1999 in a final that culminated with Brett Hull’s controversial overtime goal in Game 6 in Buffalo. Dallas was back in the Stanley Cup final the following year but Jason Arnott’s OT winner in Game 6 of the 2000 final clinched the Devils’ second Cup in six seasons. Offered here are 26 individual In Glas Co NHL official game pucks each from both the 1999 and 2000 playoffs. All 52 pucks come in their original In Glas Co round cardboard boxes with white lids on top and bottom. The face of each of the two pucks has its respective Stanley Cup playoffs logo screened on the face in the middle of a white ring with the year at the top and “Stanley Cup” at the bottom. The 1999 playoff puck has “Official Game Puck” in black letters on the orange ring on the reverse with “In Glas Co” at the bottom. The NHL crest sits in the middle with commissioner Gary Bettman’s facsimile signature below it. The following year’s playoff puck has “Official Game Puck” in black at the top of the silver ring with “In Glas Co” at the bottom. The “NHL 2000” logo is screened in the middle along with the NHL crest above it and commissioner Gary Bettman’s facsimile signature below it. Both versions of these Stanley Cup playoff pucks have “In Glas Co” between a pair of NHL crests on the edge of the puck along with “Made in Canada” and “Official”, all in raised letters.
