A couple of NHL All-Star game milestones are remembered with this big lot of 88 ASG official game pucks, all in their original round “NHL Official Game Puck” cardboard boxes. This lot includes 26 In Glas Co pucks from the 49th All-Star Game in Tampa Bay, which saw Wayne Gretzky win his third MVP award in his final ASG appearance in the North American team’s 8-6 win on January 24, 1999. The 50th edition of the All-Star Game was played in Toronto on February 6, 2000, with the World team producing a 9-4 win at the Air Canada Centre. A total of 62 pucks from the 50th All-Star Game are featured here, in two variations. Among the Toronto pucks are 33 with the same orange ring reverse and orange cardboard box as the 1999 ASG puck. Another 29 pucks for 50th ASG featuring the “NHL2000” logo on the reverse between the league shield and commissioner Gary Bettman’s facsimile signature in the middle of a silver ring with “Official Game Puck” in black along the top and “In Glas Co” at the bottom of the ring. These NHL2000 ASG pucks also have a holofoil affixed to the edge, which has “In Glas Co” between a pair of NHL shields along with “Official” and “Made in Canada”, all in raised letters.
