Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011

Beloved Canadian actor Al Waxman starred in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's docu-drama production of "Net Worth", an authentic look back at the 1950's attempt to form an NHL players union headed by Ted Lindsay. The flick went to great lengths to capture that "original six" look and feel. This impressive trio of recreations includes a white Rangers wool, with affixed captain's "C" and Harry Howell's number 3 and an outstanding Hawks uniform with the number 12 on the back. Rounding out the lot is a film-worn 1956 NHL All Star game wool with number two in felt and those terrific individually-applied stars. Worn during on-ice action scenes during the film's production by the actors who portrayed those yesteryear greats, the sweaters will make a perfect display in your media room. Comes with a letter of authenticity.
