Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
The winningest coach in Ontario Hockey League history, Dick Todd went from the Peterborough Petes to the New York Rangers in 1993 and got to hoist Lord Stanley’s famous trophy in 1994 as the Blueshirts ended their Stanley Cup drought. Todd’s thick-lined nylon Rangers pullover jacket by Starter is offered here in size XL. A nice embroidered and tackle twill “Rangers” adorns the front, with light wear to report. Similar lined nylon pants are also XL and by Pro Player. Joining the apparel are a Rangers-Canucks Stanley Cup Finals cap with an embroidered ’94 Stanley Cup logo and a Rangers Stanley Cup Champions cap that shows considerable wear and which was allegedly worn during the actual Stanley Cup celebration! Cool stuff from a Stanley Cup champion who also led Team Canada to a gold medal at the 1991 World Junior Hockey Championships.
