Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
A dandy American Hockey League piece is this personal trophy presented to Sherbrooke Canadiens goalie Andre Racicot for his part in helping the Montreal farm team to surrender the least amount of goals in 1989-90. His goaltending partner, J.C. Bergeron, is also named on the engraved plaque, applied to the 5" square wooden base. Tarnish to the bowl, which features a metal AHL logo, a glued lid and the hockey player atop the 12-1/2" high trophy to be reglued are to note. Racicot posted a 19-11-2 record with a GAA of 2.99 in his first pro season. An LOA from Classic will be included.
