Vintage Soviet national team player's game-used stick from a 1957 game in Canada has its original tape jobs on the knob and blade. This solid wood gamer with a very, very low lie bears a couple of Russian-language notations on one side of the shaft. "Soviet Union against Kingston, Ontario, Canada on December 3, 1957" is printed in black letters low on the shaft and further there is a note that this style of stick was used in the first organized hockey game in North America in 1855.
