Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Maple Leafs legend Ted Kennedy's photo is featured front and centre on this rare and highly desirable hockey stick lapel pin originally offered as a Bee Hive corn syrup premium. A neat variation on the signet style rings, these pins were offered along with similar tie clips, both of which featured a three-inch-long gilded hockey stick behind the player photo. This Bee Hive pin has a head shot of Teeder, clearly pictured beneath a Lucite dome which has light scuffs that do not diminish its display. The right part of the stick is twisted, though the pin is whole, intact, and ready for its rightful spot in your Bee Hive stash!
