San Jose Sharks memorabilia from Vincent Damphousse's personal collection includes the all-star center's game-used pants, gloves, skates and stick, as well as the huge 1,000th NHL point painting presented to him by the team. Please see our website description for more photos and details on this lot which comes with Vincent Damphousse's signed LOA. Sher-Wood game-used stick has had the tape removed from the blade, which has a crack in the fiberglass coating on the front that has partially lifted on this otherwise solid gamer that retains Vinny’s tape job on the knob;
Damphousse’s CCM game-worn pants have the Sharks alternate logo patch sewn on the front right leg and the old NHL logo shield in silver and black on the back. Lots of obvious game wear including small wear hole on the seat;
Damphousse signed in silver paint pen across the front of both of his pair of Sher-Wood 9950 gloves which display nice wear and have “3” written on each of the blackened, hole-free palms;
Damphousse signed in black marker on the left side of the heel of each of the boots of his pair of Bauer Vapor game-worn skates;
Magnificent painting was presented to Damphousse by the Sharks to commemorate his 1,000th regular season point. The Sharks gave Damphousse this original 30" x 40" oil-on-canvas painting by artist Peter Winter in an on-ice presentation after he became the 58th NHL player to reach the milestone on October 14, 2000. Damphousse is featured in action with the Sharks in the middle, surrounded by four smaller images from throughout his career also depicting him with Toronto and Edmonton, as well as celebrating his 1993 Stanley Cup win with Montreal. Damphousse added his #25 to his big and bold black marker signature on the reverse, which also has the artist's name printed in capital letters along with the year 2000. Winter has signed in the lower right corner of the painting, which is stretched over a wood frame with braced corners. A couple of light indentations are clear to see on the reverse of the canvas, though they are much less apparent viewed from the front.
