Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Sticks wielded by five Montreal Canadiens players are offered here, including 1986 Stanley Cup winners Bobby Smith and Brian Skrudland as well as 1993 Cup winner Lyle Odelein. Smith’s No. “15” is written in bold blue marker below the “Bobby Smith” stamp on his CCM PPLM-1001 gamer. Smith’s white tape knob has unraveled a bit and most of his black tape job is intact on the blade, which is missing a few strands towards the toe where the fiberglass panels have separated from the blade. “Skrudland 39” is stamped on the shaft of a blue Sher-Wood PMP 7000. Odelein’s white tape job on the blade of his “Odelein 24” Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 gamer has worn through along the otherwise smooth bottom edge and his white tape knob is intact. Also included are Darcy Tucker and Patrick Poulin Canadien gamers, which retain their original tape jobs.
