The Pittsburgh Penguins’ logo sits on the bottom of the right leg of Sergei Gonchar’s game-worn hockey pants. Gonchar won the Stanley Cup in 2009 in his third finals appearance, his second straight with the Penguins against Detroit. The all-star defenseman’s pants have the NHL shield on the back of the right pants leg, size “L Made in Canada” tagging inside the seat, and feature the stylized gold and white striping on each side of the pants adopted by the Penguins when they began wearing the Reebok Edge system uniforms in 207-08. Also included is a Penguins white Reebok goalie-cut practice jersey. The Penguins’ crest is sewn on the front which also has size “58” embroidered on the left side of the tail. Black marks dot the front and both sleeves of this practice jersey which has size 58 and goalie style flag tags in the neck and a heat-pressed number “41” in black vinyl on the back.
