Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Cool lot of NHL hockey equipment used by veteran Ottawa Senators defenseman Chris Phillips includes his Sher-Wood gloves and a trio of his game-used CCM sticks. Phillips’s tape jobs remain intact and whole on each of the three CCM U SVL one-piece composite gamers included here. All three crack-free sticks are in solid shape, each with nice evidence of game use in the form of black marks on the white tape on the blade and marks and paint chips on the blade and shaft. Phillips, the first overall pick in the 1996 draft, used his black, red and white Sher-Wood T100 gloves enough to wear a hole through the bottom of the right palm. The gloves, which have “Phillips” embroidered in red thread on each cuff, also display nice game wear in the form of scuffs on the outer padding.
