Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011

Hard work and effort finally paid off for Tim Taylor when he made his NHL debut with the Detroit Red Wings in the mid-1990s. Taylor played one game for Detroit in his sixth pro season before making it to the bigs for good during the lockout-abbreviated 1994-95 campaign. This white #37 Red Wings gamer was likely worn by Taylor during pre-season games as evidenced by the removed nameplate and red vinyl surname letters heat pressed directly onto the jersey above the sewn-on red twill numbers. Stitching has let go on the upper right side of the Eastside Sports tagging in the neck, with CCM and size 52 flag tags below it. Board burn holes appear on the sleeves along with black marks, with more black marks on the front tail.
