Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
The top pick in the 2009 NHL draft, John Tavares tore it up in junior hockey on his way to being the New York Islanders' obvious first overall selection. Tavares signed in blue marker on his white tape job on the toe of his Bauer One90 game-used stick. Oshawa Generals logos and "Tavares" are among the factory graphics on the shaft. Tavares's red tape knob also remains intact on this nicely used junior gamer, which has clear glue spots on the back of the shaft that do not diminish its display. Your chance to catch a rising star!
