2009 NHL first overall pick John Tavares signed the interior padding of his 2006-07 Oshawa Generals game-worn helmet. Tavares, who scored 72 goals to break Wayne Gretzky's OHL record for 16-year-olds, signed in silver paint pen on the padding on the right side. The notation "06-07 Gamer CHL Player of the Year" is written on the padding on the left side of this CCM gamer with Tavares's scuffed Itech visor still attached. Tavares' "91" and OHL decals remain intact the back of this game-worn helmet which comes with its chinstrap.
