Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
This great fighter's jersey was worn by enforcer Tony Twist during the 1991-92 season -- his second of four in Quebec which saw him rack up a career-high 164 penalty minutes in 44 games. The CCM blue knit Nords road jersey has a Maska tag in the neck beside a size 56 fly tag, while the CCM and NHL logos are embroidered into the rear hem. The NHL's 75th anniversary patch appears on the right breast. All patches, numbers and "Twist" on the nameplate are in tackle twill and sewn-on. Nice game wear includes over a dozen slash marks on the front and sleeves, some board burns and cuff pilling. Evidence of a scrapper's jersey comes in the form of a slightly torn and repaired collar and the sliced inner seam on the right sleeve.
