Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Ray Sheppard took to the ice as a member of the Detroit Red Wings in 1995, wearing this white air-knit home jersey for games one and two of the Stanley Cup finals against the Devils, who took the series in four straight. The CCM and East Side tags are there in the neck, with a size 52 fly tag off to one side while the 1995 Stanley Cup Finals patch appears on the front. This one shows great wear with dozens of sticks mark on each arm, more on the front and about five unrepaired burns and small holes. A team set tag proclaiming "95 Playoffs" is screened in the inner rear hem and a numbered hologram along with the Hockeytown Authentics certificate of authenticity will be included.
