In addition to calling WHA games as a referee, Wayne Mundey also worked as a linesman during his five-year career in the 1970s rebel league. Offered here from Mundey's personal collection is his WHA linesman jersey, a traditional black-and-white striped zebra look with no league patch on the front in contrast to the colorful red-white-and-blue sweaters worn by the league's referees. White twill #19 is sewn on the back on a rounded black twill patch, whose stitching has let go on the upper left corner. This vintage zip-front collar beauty has Gerry Cosby tagging in the back of the neck. No size is indicated, though we estimate it as roughly a 40. This rare WHA on-ice offficial's jersey remains in really nice shape overall. To note are three unexplained holes on the left sleeve. Also, the zip-front is closed and in delicate condition because the left side of the zipper panel fabric has torn at the top. Comes with Wayne Mundey's signed LOA.
