Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011

Paul Henderson's dureen WHA Toronto Toros jersey is a treat! The heavily-embroidered snortin' bull logo is there on the front with the team name patches at each elbow. Wonderful v-neck style with the black and gold Maska label and a size tag off to one side. The plate on the back is original and, although at first glance it looks like there has been a plate change, on closer inspection it is simply a case of the team re-sewing the plate along the top and bottom edges as it has shrunk and puckered. You will be happy with the game use as the jersey has dozens of solid stick marks on the sleeves and lower front with a few smaller unrepaired holes and light interior runs and pilling. Although Henderson regularly wore number "19", he did wear this number for a short period in 1974-75 and we will include an action photo of him wearing "10" in a game. A seldom-seen style from the well-loved hero of the 1972 Summit Series. Comes with a letter of authenticity.
