Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
This dashing red blazer once belonged to early enforcer John Ferguson of the Montreal Canadiens. Intricate gold filigree work decorates the breast pocket in a crest design with "Montreal Canadiens" above and "National Hockey League" below. Gold buttons adorn the front and a look inside reveals the maker's tag, Anthony Gunita, Tony the Tailor of Montreal along with a date label inside the interior pocket that has John's surname marked in ink and the year "63". This darling dinner jacket has been well-preserved and is ready-to-wear!
