Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Following a nine-season stay in Vancouver, Harold Snepsts found himself in Minnesota for the start of the 1984-85 year. Snepsts's white mesh North Stars jersey has "Steichen's" and a CCM patch on the rear hem and the Maska and Steichen's tags, sewn one over the other in the collar. Obvious game use here with at least nine stitched team repairs on the lower arms and loads of black stick marks, board burns and areas of board paint transfer throughout. This game-worn beauty, from an ever-popular long-defunct team, was donned by a career stay-at-home defender with over 1000 National Hockey League games to his credit.
