A 1976 Olympic torch from Montreal is a rare find indeed and a highlight of this collection of memorabilia from Canada's first time hosting the world's elite athletes. The red and black aluminum torch used in the 1976 Olympic torch relay is a shade under 26" tall and comes with a wooden stand and plaque. With only 1,250 pieces produced, the torch is from one of the smallest production numbers since the Olympic flame relays was introduced in Berlin in 1936. Also featured are Montreal 1976 and IOC Olympic flags, 1976 opening and closing ceremonies programs, a 1976 official participation medal and "The Olympic Series" DVD box set. The red and white flag with the Montreal 1976 Olympic logo measures 34” x 54”;
