Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan has signed each of the six items featured in this lot, including three baseballs, a pair of photos and a spectacular framed print of a fantastic shot with legendary hurler Walter Johnson. The author of an unbelievable seven no-hitters, the Ryan Express himself signed the sweet spot of an AL Bobby Brown ball, a gorgeous novelty "Texas Leaguer" ball, as well as an NL Feeney ball that is also signed by Pete Rose, Jose Cruz, Dave Parker and Dale Murphy. Please see our website description for full details on the items in this lot. Nolan signed in black marker across his image on a framed 15x24 composite photo of himself shaking hands with the long deceased Johnson. The print is titled “The Big Train Meets the Ryan Express” and displayed in a 22” x 28” silver-colored frame;
(3) signed baseballs: Cruz and Ryan have signed in blue ink to the left of the NL official ball stamp, Bob Lillis has also signed; Ryan’s gold paint pen signature sits on the sweet spot of the nicely detailed, dark brown leather “The Cowboy 1865” Texas Leaguer ball which comes with its original box; Ryan has signed in blue ballpoint on the sweet spot of the clean AL ball;
Ryan’s faint but legible black marker signature sits on a long photo of him blowing a third strike past fellow HOFer Rickey Henderson at the Rangers’ old ballpark. This 12x9 shot is tastefully displayed in a blue matte and mounted in a 14 1/2" x 11 1/2" black metal frame;
Nolan has signed in blue marker on a 10x8 shot of himself in a suit standing behind a statue of himself in his windup.
