The Yankee Clipper and the Mick, New York Yankees icons Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle are featured in this lot of 10 mostly signed photos and baseballs. Joltin' Joe has signed a ball, a framed photo of him and Bob Feller, an 8x10 of his sweet swing as well as a 10x8 that is also signed by Mantle. Mickey has signed two baseballs, a limited-edition framed artwork and a pair of 8x10s, including a Willie, Mickey and the Duke montage that is also signed by Willie Mays and the late Duke Snider. DiMaggio placed a blue ink signature across the sweet spot of a white Rawlings AL Bobby Brown ball, which has a light bit of toning below the g’s in his last name;
Mantle has placed a nice blue ballpoint autograph across the sweet spot of a white Rawlings AL Bobby Brown ball;
Mantle has added his “No. 7” to his blue ballpoint signature across the sweet spot of a 1994 World Series official ball which has a UDA holofoil affixed below the Rawlings logo and comes with a COA;
DiMaggio’s slightly pale blue marker autograph runs vertically up his legs on a 10x8 shot with Bob Feller displayed in a double matte mounted in a 15” x 12” wood frame;
Mickey Mantle placed a big, bold blue marker autograph across the back of his shoulder on this limited edition print signed in pencil by artist Gerry Dvorak and numbered “34/150”. Mounted in a 18 1/2" x 13 3/4" silver-colored frame, the print has a COA attached to the reverse.
The Yankee Clipper have signed “Joe DiMaggio” and “Mickey Mantle” respectively in black marker on a 10x8 modern print of the two baseball icons posed with bats in hand in front of the dugout;
Mantle has signed in blue marker along with Willie Mays and the late Duke Snider on an 8x10 print of a montage of Willie, Mickey and the Duke;
DiMaggio placed a bold blue marker signature across the bottom of an 8x10 action shot of his follow through;
Mickey has signed in blue marker across the top of his uniform on a batting stance pose 10x8;
Rounding out the lot is a black-thread stitched Rawlings AL Gene Budig ball with a “New York 7 Mickey Mantle” logo.
