Remarkable international hockey treasure is HOFer William A. Hewitt's 1924 Winter Olympics silver pendant. William Hewitt managed each of Canada's first three gold medal-winning Olympic hockey teams, including the 1924 Toronto Granites who led their country to gold at the inaugural Winter Olympics in Chamonix, France. This 87-year-old silver pendant was presented to William A. Hewitt in recognition of his role at the 1924 Olympics with the two-time Allan Cup champion Granites, who outclassed their opponents by a combined score of 110-3 to claim gold with five straight wins in Chamonix. This art deco style pin has "W.A. Hewitt" engraved along the bottom of the face, which features blue and black detailing, the latter of which has horizontal scratches above the name.
