The attractive 1933 Ice kings set from the World Wide Gum Co. Ltd. features muted tones and a drab background. Printed in Montreal, Canada, the set introduced the rookie card of Wings goaler John Roach. Roach was known for his acrobatic style of goaltending. He was a First Team All-Star during the 1932-33 NHL and won a Stanley Cup in 1922. This example of Roach's rookie card has been sealed in Lucite by PSA who give it a grade of NM 7. Only two have been graded higher at PSA 8.
