Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Silver Easton aluminum gamer is a marvelous example of a Wayne Gretzky two-piece beauty from his 1990s star turn with the L.A. Kings. Kings trainer Peter Millar's "C13" code is written in black marker on top of the wood butt end insert in the top of the shaft of this Easton HXP 5100 with "Gretzky" printed just below his original black foam "Gripper" knob. Gretz's powdered black tape job also remains on the Easton wood blade insert which has "Gretzky" stamped on the front just below where it attaches to the shaft. Light but noticeable wear includes a spot of red paint transfer on the back of the silve-colored shaft. A solid, crack-free Gretzky Kings gamer is a must for any self-respecting stick collection!
