Wayne Gretzky scored the game and series winning goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs and send the Kings to the Finals in 1993. The seventh game of the series, played on May 29, 1993 was a stunner for fans in Toronto and Wayne Gretzky has been quoted as saying that his performance in the game was the best of his career. This Easton Aluminum 5100 model from the 1992-93 season is marked "Gretzky" up on the shimmering shaft with an Easton wood blade with wine graphics only on the one side. The blade, also stamped "Gretzky", is wrapped in Gretzky's distinctive style, taped in bulldog and features a bold black autograph from the Great One. The black foam "Gripper" is there instead of a taped knob and the butt end has been coded by Kings trainer Peter Miller, "RS93 Dallas 268", with the addition of the symbol of a fish in black marker. Better than average use for a Gretzky gamer from this period with good wear at the blade tape but no marring damage. A perfect example!
