The Montreal Canadiens won the Stanley Cup for the second time in three years in 1945-46. This striking photo and autograph display features a team photo montage and three individual autographs presented in a 22 ½” x 24” wood frame. The display is mounted with a “skate marks on ice” silver matte around the outside of the frame with red and blue mattes on the inside. The individual signatures of Elmer Lach, Emile “Butch” Bouchard and Dutch Hiller are each highlighted beneath the color-tinted photo montage of the team, featuring Durnan, Richard, Reardon, Blake, Lach, Bouchard, Mosdell, O’Connor and Hiller. A gold-colored plaque at the bottom of the frame lists the results of Montreal’s five-game win over the Boston Bruins in the finals.
