Some great stuff here with Bill Cowley signing near his photo in a 1939-40 Bruins-Rangers program and fellow Hall-of-Famers Frank Brimsek, Lynn Patrick and Babe Prattt autographing the back cover, along with Mel Hill. A Detroit at Oakland program featuring Bobby Baun has its cover autographed by 17 Red Wings including coach Abel, Howe, Crozier, Bergman, Unger and the Mahovlich brothers, while a Pit Martin cover from a Leafs at Hawks matchup is signed by King Clancy and 20 other Torontonians, including Keon, Ullman and Sittler, with more signing and condition details available on our website. The VG Bruins program is from February 6, 1940 and a 6-2 Bruins victory, with the Cowley autograph in pencil and difficult-to-ask-for-nicer, with the Patrick and Hill sigs, also in pencil, a tad better/bolder than Brimsek and Pratt. A certificate from James Spence Authentication is included. The Seals program is from Wednesday, March 13, 1968 with other Red Wings to sign the VG program on the cover being Delvecchio, Kent Douglas, Stemkowski, Libett, Prentice, Jarrett, Falkenberg, Roy Edwards, Jim Watson and Jim Peters. The thick Black Hawks program is G-VG with a loose lineup page and scotch tape repairing the bottom three inches of the spine. The Clancy autograph though shows up nicely to the left of Martin’s neckline. Other Leafs to sign were Ellis, McKenny, Kehoe, Thompson, Ferguson, Terry Clancy, Dupere, Jarry, Grisdale, Fortier, McIntyre, coach John McLellan, goalies McRae (twice) and Low and Newfoundland’s Joe Lundrigan. Like we said at the top, great stuff!
