Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Erroneously labeled “Bill Cook” by PSA, this little treasure actually pictures Lloyd Cook, a defenseman who played just four NHL games, scoring one goal with Boston in 1924-25, but who had previously been a perennial all-star with Vancouver of the PCHA, winning the Stanley Cup with the Millionaires in 1915. This PSA NM 7 (MC) example of card #6 edges out one PSA 6.5 and one PSA 6 as the highest such Cook RC ever encapsulated by the company, rendering it appealing indeed.
