Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
Well folks, hockey cards were made to have fun with and the original owner of these sure must have had a blast! Just about all have writing on the front and the back, with punched letters (usually a “C”) also appearing on the fronts. Add in the, at times, heavy creases and the rounded corners and you have a fine group of Poor condition cards, albeit a group filled with stars and rookie cards. Still fun to read the write-ups on the backs of the cards of such legends as Morenz, Joliat, Clancy, Stewart, Howe, Primeau, Bailey, Clapper, the Cooks, Siebert, Worters, Weiland and more, while contemplating life in the National Hockey League in 1933-34. Missing is card #52-Duguid
