An appealing crease-free Jean Beliveau RC (EX or oh so close to it) is among the highlights of this 1953-54 Parkhurst set, which features a wide range of conditions. Majority of the other key cards are in lower grades but with a VG Sawchuk present and then Howe, Horton, Lach/Richard and Geoffrion at G and Richard (back damage) and Harvey at F. Card #1-Harry Lumley (G-VG) features a gorgeous ballpoint autograph. Small paper loss to the crease-free Worsley RC drops it down. EX-or-better cards total (35), with the rest mostly VG, VG+ and VG-EX. More details on our website. EX-or-better cards total (35) and are highlighted by #59-Rayner (at least NM), 47-Delvacchio (NM) and a trio of notables at EX-MT; 56-Bathgate RC, 64-Stanley and 86-Henry. In the EX and EX+ range are #s 16, 18, 33, 36, 39, 40-Kelly, 54, 57 Howell (ST), 62, 63, 65, 68-71, 73-84 and 93-95. Most of the rest are VG, VG+ and VG-EX, with a half dozen lesser lights including (4) at G-VG; 7-Kennedy, 15, 22, 100-Quackenbush and a couple (43, 91) at F-G. Not very many unsightly creases throughout the group, with rather corner and edge wear as the flaws, along with various degrees of standard browning/toning to consider.
