One-of-a-kind Chicago Stadium memorabilia here from the very heart of the Madhouse on Madison. Truly unique offering consists of five huge brass gauges from the venerable Windy City arena's physical plant. These remarkable originals dating from the Stadium's construction in the late 1920s measure 12" in diameter, are 3 1/4" wide and each weigh approximately 13 lbs! Please see our website description for more information on this lot which and will require special shipping arrangements. Included are notes for each of the gauges signed by the Stadium’s longtime building engineer. Glass is intact on four of the five gauges, three of which have their original labels “Compressed Air”, “Brine Suction”, “Heating System”, displayed on the face along with “Jas. P. Marsh & Company, Chicago” at the bottom. The other intact gauge has a “Boiler Press.” label stuck on the face. The “Vaccuum Return” gauge has broken glass exposing its face. Four of the gauges have “A Genuine Artifact from the Chicago Stadium 1929-1994” labels affixed to the back.
