Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/1/2011
This remarkable and historic hockey program for a 1925-26 WCHL game between Edmonton and Saskatoon, originally from the personal collection of the great Eddie Shore, features lineups filled with NHLers, including six HOFers! Shore is listed in the Eskimos' lineup on the 10" x 14" centerfold spread with rosters for both teams for their February 22nd 1926 game at Edmonton's "Arena Ice Palace" while the Saskatoon Crescents' lineup boasted George Hainsworth, Newsy Lalonde, Harry Cameron, and the Cook brothers, Bill and Bun. This delicate 8-page affair on thin paper stock exhibits expected handling, including a few rough edges, though it has nicely preserved overall. The program is complete and whole and comes with an LOA from the Shore family.
