"Bob Orr". Wow! What a find! The Oshawa Generals' 15-year-old phenom placed that simple ballpoint autograph low on the shaft of his game-used Hespeler hockey stick, which was also signed by the rest of his 1963-64 Junior A Generals teammates. Consistent with sticks that Orr used with the Generals, "Orr" is handwritten in black marker at the top of the shaft, just below his black tape knob, and the number "2" he wore with Oshawa is written on both sides of the shaft. The late Wren Blair, Generals coach Jim Cherry and teammates Wayne Cashman, Danny O'Shea and Ron Buchanan are also among the 21 ballpoint signatures along the back of the shaft. Orr's black tape job remains on the blade, which has a number of cracks along the bottom edge and at the heel, but otherwise remains whole and intact. Please see our website description for more information about this incredible Bobby Orr team-signed Oshawa Generals junior hockey game-used stick. Moving upwards along the shaft the stick is signed among others by Cherry, Orr, Wren Blair, Vail, Jim Blair, Reeson, Gibson, Roberts, Buchanan, Smith, Kilger, Danny O’Shea, Cashman and Little.
