Great run of Toronto Maple Leafs calendars spans a pair of Stanley Cup dynasties, running from the end of the Teeder Kennedy era through George Armstrong's debut and the eve of the Chief's 1960s Cup champions. A total of 9 Leafs calendars begins with 1949-50, followed by a run of five straight years from 1951-56, and completed by three more beginning with 1957-58 and including the Stanley Cup finalists of the next two years. The 1949-50 Maple Leafs calendar features one 29” x 18 1/2" page with team photos of the defendind Stanley Cup champions and its September/October 1950 calendar page still attached, along with a detached pad of 11 stapled 11 9 ½” x 17 1/2" pages for the months of October 1949 to August 1950.
The 1951-52, 1952-53, 1954-55, 1955-56 Leafs calendars measure 28 1/2" x 18 1/2" while the 1953-54 Leafs calendar is 18 1/2" x 12” and the 1957-58, 1958-59 and 1959-60 calendars are 25 1/4" x 16 1/2". All nine calendars are complete. They remain wonderful display pieces despite some tears along the bottom edge.
