Guy Lafleur and the late Bernie Geoffrion dedicated their autographs respectively on two of the 12 framed Montreal Canadiens photos dating from the 1950s, '60s and '70s offered here from Red Fisher's personal collection. Boom Boom autographed a 10x14 shot of his 50th goal and the Flower autographed an 11x14 photo of his overtime goal in the 1978 Stanley Cup final. Three framed 14x11 photos include Toe Blake and Fisher posing with the Stanley Cup, Geoffrion and Fisher, and Johnson, Talbot and Fontinato in uniform with Fisher;
Blake and Fisher in a 12x10 dressing room pose;
A 10x14 of Claude Provost receiving the Bill Masterton Trophy from Fisher;
Three 8x10s include Maurice Richard and his son Maurice Jr. with Fisher and others in the Canadiens’ dressing room, Gump Worsley and Cesare Maniago posed in uniform with Fisher, and Canadiens Beliveau, St. Laurent, Plante, Harvey, Geoffrion, Henri Richard and Provost among the golfers posed with Fisher, along with a slightly smaller framed print of Backstrom, Watson and Ferguson posed with Fisher at the old Montreal Forum;
The photos are overall in nice condition, some with weathering that does little to diminish their display.
Rounding out the lot is a December 1949 calendar page from the Canadiens’ 40th anniversary is mounted in a 30” x 24 1/4" black frame.
