The 1992-93 Montreal Canadiens will forever be remembered as the team that won an astounding 10 consecutive overtime games on its way to claiming the Stanley Cup. Offered here is a collection of 16 game-used sticks which, though they may not all necessarily date from that season, were each wielded by a member of the Canadiens' 24th Stanley Cup championship team. A total of 13 of these gamers are signed, including those of Conn Smythe winner and HOFer Patrick Roy, Vincent Damphousse, Kirk Muller, Brian Bellows, John LeClair, Mike Keane and captain Guy Carbonneau. Please see our website description for more information about this huge lot. Roy’s Louisville goalie stick is signed on the back of the paddle. This gamer with a “Feb. 5 1990” date stamp on the shaft retains the goalie’s tape jobs on the knob and blade, which is cracked at the toe;
Damphousse has signed on the heel of his Sher-Wood 7000, which retains his red gauze tape knob and black tape job on the blade;
Muller has signed a two-piece Easton aluminum with a “Muller” blade insert that retains his tape jobs;
Bellows has signed low on the shaft of his Sher-Wood;
“LeClair 17” is stamped on the shaft of a Sher-Wood signed in black marker low on the shaft which retains LeClair’s red gauze tape knob as well as his black tape job on the blade;
Keane has signed the heel of his Hespeler stick which retains his blue gauze tape knob and black tape blade;
Carbonneau has signed the shaft of his Artis stick with a white tape knob and black tape job on the blade;
Other signed sticks include Brunet, Odelein, Desjardins, Schneider and Ronan (2); Also included are gamers from Brisebois, Ewen and DiPietro.
