Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2011
Philadelphia star Jeff Carter wore this black Flyers home gamer from the team's second set of home jerseys as a 21-year-old rookie in 2005-06. Carter, chosen 11th overall in the 2003 draft, had 23 goals and 42 points in his NHL debut. A "2005-06 Season" patch is sewn inside the rear hem beside the MeiGray registry patch from unplayed previous season and a size 56 flag tag sits in the back of the neck. Light but obvious game wear shows in a few really nice board burns and red paint transfer on the front left shoulder. The MeiGray LOA that accompanies this gamer corresponds to the registry number on the patch.
