The NHL updated its In Glas Co game puck once again in 2000, adopting the silver ring on the reverse that it debuted for the “NHL2000”
gamers used during the 1999-2000 season. “Official Game Puck” appears in black at the top of the ring with “In Glas Co” at the bottom.
An error in the initial production runs of these 2000-2002 pucks saw the registration mark omitted below the NHL shield in the middle
of the silver ring, which also has commissioner Gary Bettman’s facsimile signature along the bottom. Among this huge lot of 242 NHL
official game pucks from that period, all in individual In Glas Co round cardboard boxes, are 67 from the 2000-01 season exhibiting
that flaw, which breaks down as follows: Atlanta (2), Boston (2), Buffalo (2), Calgary (2), Carolina (2) Columbus Inaugural Season (4),
Chicago 75th (6), Colorado Home of the 2001 NHL All-Star Game (11), Dallas (2), Detroit (2), Edmonton (2), Los Angeles (2), Montreal
(2), New Jersey (2), Ottawa (2), Philadelphia (2), Phoenix (2), St. Louis (5), San Jose 10th (6), Tampa Bay (4), Toronto (2), and
Vancouver. A total of 41 “Home of the All-Star Game” pucks include 10 for Colorado 2001 and 31 for Los Angeles 2002. Another 54 pucks
celebrate team anniversaries, including Chicago with a 75th Anniversary box (18), Columbus Inaugural Season (11), N.Y. Rangers 75th
(17), and San Jose 10th (8). The 80 other 2000-02 pucks break down as follows: Anaheim (4), Atlanta (2), Boston (2), Buffalo (2),
Calgary (2), Carolina (2), Chicago (2), Colorado (2), Columbus (2), Dallas (2), Detroit (2), Edmonton (2), Florida (4), Los Angeles
(3), Minnesota (4), Montreal (2), Nashville (6), New Jersey (2), N.Y. Islanders (5), N.Y. Rangers (2), Ottawa (2), Philadelphia (2),
