The New Jersey Devils won their third Stanley Cup in nine years in the spring of 2003, though the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim pushed them to the limit in the finals. Offered here are 62 In Glas Co NHL official game pucks from the 2003 playoffs, including 51 Stanley Cup Finals pucks representing all seven games. There are four pucks for each of Games 1-6, as well as 27 from Game 7, which saw the Devils win 3-0 at Continental Airlines Arena as Martin Brodeur posted his third shutout of the final. The 2003 Stanley Cup logo is screened on the middle of the face of the finals pucks with “Stanley Cup Finals” at the top of a shaded ring and the NHL shield at the bottom between “Game” and the game number spelled out (e.g. “Seven”). The other 11 pucks are Stanley Cup playoffs pucks with “2003 Stanley Cup” written on the top of the shaded ring and the NHL shield alone at the bottom. The reverse features commissioner Gary Bettman’s facsimile signature below the NHL shield in the middle of a shaded ring with “Official Game Puck” along the top and “In Glas Co” at the bottom. “In Glas Co” is printed between a pair of NHL shield logos on the edge of each puck along with “Made In Canada” and “Official”, also in raised letters. All 62 pucks come with their original In Glas Co round “NHL Official Game Puck” cardboard boxes with white plastic lids top and bottom.
