Glorious red Trail Smoke Eaters winter coat features a superb patch on the left sleeve commemorating the Canadian senior hockey team's world championship and Allan Cup titles of the early 1960s. The "Trail, B.C. Home of the Smoke Eaters" patch features an embroidered image of a player on the left side with "World Champions 1961" and "Allan Cup Winners 1962" sewn onto the left sleeve of this vintage wool coat. Hudson's Bay tagging inside lower right front of the coat has the name "Don Freer" written on it in bold blue ink. Freer was the Trail Eaters' co-manager when the Smoke Eaters represented Canada at the 1963 world championships in Sweden, which is likely where team members wore this beauty while representing their country. No size is indicated; we estimate it to be roughly a size 42. Comes with a Smoke Eaters puck and a souvenir miniature hockey skate which stands in a slot in the top of the puck.
