The United States shot out of the gate in their 2010 Olympic men's hockey semi-final win over Finland in Vancouver. Soon-to-be Stanley Cup hero Patrick Kane scored a pair as the Americans built a six-goal lead 12:46 into the first on their way to advancing to the gold medal final against host Canada with a 6-1 win over the Finns on February 26. This Vancouver 2010 Sher-Wood official Olympic game puck was used during the third period. Tournament all-star goalie Ryan Miller got a breather 8:29 into the third when he was replaced by Tim Thomas, who allowed Finland's only tally, a power-play goal by Antti Miettinen. Game wear includes a chipped edge on the side with the Olympic rings in white on a blue and green background. Comes with a COA from Vancouver Organizing Committee CEO John Furlong and Gameday Auction featuring a holofoil which corresponds to the one affixed to the puck.
